These Spaceballs Posters Spoofing The Force Awakens Are Totally On Brand

Recommended Videos

These posters for the (sadly fictional) Spaceballs sequel, The Schwartz Awakens, are so deliciously on point. They’re directly parodying those great Force Awakens prints created by Olly Moss not too long ago. It just seems only right that a parody movie would also parody the promotional materials, no?

Created by Josh Budich, each poster features a different Spaceballs character: Dot Matrix, Barf, and Dark Helmet. Each of them has a silhouette of an iconic Spaceballs scene. And yes, you guessed it, the combing the desert scene is totally on there.

The super dramatic posters make me a little sad that there isn’t a Spaceballs sequel coming out. Alas.

According to Laughing Squid, the posters will be up for sale today, December 9th, at 2pm CST. You’ll find them on the art prints section of the Nakatomi, Inc website.
