Good day to dress up as kylo ren and play around haha! Add me on snapchat: Jboyega

John Boyega had a bit of fun and probably sent more than a few fans and movie conspiracy theorists into a tizzy the other day when he “suited up” (read: wore a mask) as Kylo Ren, complete with lightsaber flamberge.

Notice the grace with which he dances around (his?) living room, bringing up memories of The Star Wars Kid, except with noticeably more practiced skill. Also this:

Of course, a post like this wouldn’t be complete without a bit of wild, rampant speculation, so let’s talk about that a bit, shall we?

Isn’t it interesting how he seems totally skilled with that lightsaber? We do know he throws down against Kylo Ren, because after all, that duel seems to be the focal point of a ton of the trailers that have come out lately. On top of that, check out his stance and his style: kind of defensive, very evocative of Jedi technique, no? How much of this do you think I’m completely making up? You’re right, probably a lot of it!

But the most important thing about this video, perhaps central to the entire Star Wars experience is this: check out the cat tree in the corner. CATS, PEOPLE. Knowing that Boyega’s a cat person will definitely let me rest a little easier in the theater as I watch The Force Awakens, yessiree.
