Chelsea Clinton Totally Handles Conservative Author Who Crashed Her Children’s Book Signing

Recommended Videos

Major props to Chelsea Clinton for totally handling this conservative author who crashed the book signing event for her kids’ book, It’s Your World: Get Informed, Get Inspired & Get Going! The gross, awkward attempt at a takedown looks to be recorded from a cell phone camera, and the disembodied voice of Robert Morrow, the dude asking the questions, totally makes me shudder.

You can hear Morrow try to scramble for questions to catch Clinton off guard, but she is totally not having any of it. She handles him with grace, poise, and a smile, whereas if I were in her position, I’d probably not have said a gosh darn word. Good for her.

When Morrow asked if her book is targeted towards teenage girls, Clinton responded, “Yes. It’s targeted to kids, actually, girls and boys.”

The skeezy dude follows up with a question about her father (because of course he does), and asks, “Would you say Bill Clinton also targets teenage girls, except for sexual reasons?”

She didn’t rise to the bait and only said:

I would say my book is really resonating with kids. I was at the Ann Richards School earlier today and I’m so grateful that it’s resonating to the young girls and the young boys that I’ve been talking to across the country.

The video was posted to Republic of Texas TV, a YouTube channel featuring hit videos such as, “Feminists Get Trolled! So Much Butthurt!” and “Old School Drum Solo”. Quality content, people. Brought to you by the denizens of them there interwebs. Of course it figures that the dude posted the video without making any comments about how he basically got nothing out of her, and makes it seem like he totally questioned her. Uh-huh. Okay, dude.

Great job, Chelsea Clinton. You are amazing, and we envy your total grace.
