The hype around the brand new Star Wars land coming to Disneyland and Disney World continues to build as it was recently announced that construction on the unprecedented expansions would begin next year. No further details were offered about when the expansions were slated to be open, but that’s to be expected, as there are many things still in the planning stages.

Essentially what this means is that if you go out to the parks and get in line now, your wait time to get onto the Millennium Falcon ride would only be three months instead of forever. Great! See you at the parks, people! I’ll be holding my 29th-35th birthdays in line for the ride. Maybe by the time I’m 50, I’ll get to the pre-show section.

Disney COO Tom Staggs also gave another minor update regarding their Avatar (unobtanium, not bender) land, saying that they’re working on making mountains float. That’s some Jedi/Na’vi synergy right there, friends.
