Geekosystem’s The Incredible Burt Wonderstone Giveaway

Have we mentioned how much we like giving stuff away? Especially when it's something really great like this movie.

The Incredible Burt Wonderstone is out on DVD and Blu-ray today, and we have 10 copies of the Blu-Ray combo pack to give away thanks to Warner Bros! They sent over a review copy, and as it turns out, I love this movie. A lot. They also sent us a bunch of GIFs from the film. We’ll give the copies to the best captions for the GIFs.

Anyone who had a magic set as a kid would probably love Burt Wonderstone. Comedy fans should enjoy it too based on the impressive cast. I fall into both those categories, so I really dug this movie. Steve Carell, Steve Buscemi, Jim Carrey, and Olivia Wilde are all great it in. It’s admittedly a little silly, but that’s not always a bad thing. Here’s the trailer:

I really loved this movie, and the Blu-ray has 20 minutes of cut scenes and a bonus feature where David Copperfield explains one of the tricks designed just for the movie, and he also appears briefly in the film itself.

To win a copy of the combo pack featuring the Blu-Ray, DVD, and a digital copy just think of a caption for one of the GIFs below and tweet it out with the hashtag #GeekWonderstone. The 10 best captions win. We’re only giving one prize per person — even if you have the 10 best captions, but you can still enter as many times as you want. “Best” doesn’t necessarily mean “funniest” but it sure isn’t going to hurt your chances if you make us laugh.

I’ll be picking the winners one week from today on Tuesday, July 2nd. Make sure you’re following us @Geekosystem or we won’t be able to message you that you’ve won. Warner Bros. is limiting this contest to residents of the U.S. only, and they won’t be shipping to any P.O. boxes, so keep that in mind.

Now that the details are out of the way, here are the GIFs with handy bit.ly links for easy tweeting:

Note: You will not win if you caption this one with “HADOUKEN!!!” That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try.

Ian Chant and I have been doing this around the office a lot lately.

This is how Rollin reacts to all that dancing. Also — we keep Rollin in a plexiglass box.

Remember: Jim Carrey thinks Kick-Ass 2 is too violent.

Who magically changes into a Members Only jacket?

This is actually one of the least ridiculous things Carrey’s character does in the movie.

So there you go! Pick a GIF and tweet a caption. Remember you can enter as many times as you want. Just be sure to include the hashtag #GeekWonderstone so I can find all the entries. Happy tweeting, everybody!

If you need me I’ll be watching Burt Wonderstone again.
