The moment you’ve all been waiting for…no, not the next Hobbit film…The Mary Sue’s New York Comic Con party announcement!

Update: Hello, friends. We’ve changed some things, so check out the updated page for the new information about our (better!) party.

Last year we got together with a fabulous group of folks after the convention doors closed and had a rousing good time, if I might be so bold, and we’d like to do that again. Won’t you join us?

When: Thursday October 10, 2013 – 8:00 p.m.
Where: Houndstooth Pub (street level) – 520 8th Avenue New York, NY 10018 Space 10011, 524 West 19th Street, between 10th and 11th Avenues.
Who: YOU!

We know NYCC is a busy time for everyone, which is why we’re having our get together on Thursday. We also know this means some of you might not be in town yet, and for that we are truly sorry. But for those who can make it, it’s come as you are! Feel free to come in cosplay if you’re still dressed up from the show but it’s just a casual event to meet fellow geeks (and perhaps a few non-geeks) and probably get into some really nerdy discussions. We’ll even have a few fun things to give away!

All three staff members from The Mary Sue will be making appearances at the event and you never know who else might turn up! Personally, I put an invite in for Batman, but you know how busy he can get. Maybe this guy?

We hope to see you there! And don’t forget about our NYCC panel happening Saturday afternoon of the show!
