The Walking Dead ambles back onto your TV sets on October 13th, and when it does we’ll finally get that zombie fix we’ve been missing since season three ended. At first glance the life of one of the show’s Walkers doesn’t seem a pleasant one. Badasses like Michonne and Daryl can cut your head off without breaking a sweat. I can’t imagine brains are that tasty. And there’s the whole being dead thing.

But once you start thinking about it, being a Walker isn’t as bad as it sounds. Here are 10 reasons we’d want to be on the undead side of the zombie apocalypse.
