Adam Levine’s cheating scandal has preoccupied the entire internet for about a week now. The scandal broke on September 19, 2022, when Instagram model Sumner Stroh took to social media to expose her affair with Levine. Stroh alleged in a now-viral TikTok that she had a year-long affair with Levine. She backed up her claims by showing Instagram DMs from Levine that clearly showed his Instagram username, profile, and verified checkmark. What’s more shocking than his affair is that he recently reached out to her, months after they had stopped talking, to ask her for permission to name his and his wife’s unborn child after her.
The Maroon 5 singer has been married to Victoria Secret model Behati Prinsloo for 8 years. The couple has two children together, and Prinsloo is currently expecting their third child. Levine issued a statement the day after the allegations broke, denying that he had an affair but admitting he sent flirty messages and crossed a line. Since then, four more women have come forward with flirty DMs from Levine.
Of course, with the internet being the internet, two of Levine’s cringey cheating texts quickly became a meme.
