Every decade has its Tickle Me Elmo, its Changeable Charlie, and its Care Bears. Mode made a video looking back at the most coveted toys in the last century (including video games and razor scooters). It’s really interesting to see how toys become more and more complex, but stuffed animals and dolls never really fall out of fashion.

Even if you’re just watching to make grouchy “young people are spoiled and don’t have imagination anymore” comments, it’s still a fun nostalgia trip. Still, are people really buying their kids those hoverboards for Christmas? Does that make them the new razor scooter? What a time to be alive.

Did you see any of your old toys?
