New Star Wars: The Force Awakens Teasers Grab Our Attention Like a Jedi Mind Trick

The teasers you're looking for, etc.

At only a few seconds each, these new teasers for The Force Awakens are painfully short, but that won’t stop us from watching them 100 times and obsessing over every detail. It also doesn’t hurt that those rumblings of a full-fledged new trailer during Monday Night Football tonight seem to be absolutely true. See for yourself:

And if you missed them, take a look at another cryptic tease and the official poster revealed yesterday.

I still maintain that only the weak-minded would be fooled by old Jedi mind tricks drawn in by a trailer for a trailer, but in this instance, I guess my mind has gone a bit soft—and it helps that we’re only being asked to watch football as opposed to get tickets to a special IMAX show. Football sounds like a relatively small price to pay for the final trailer for the first Star Wars theatrical sequel (not prequel) since the early ’80s.

But I’ll still probably just find it online.
