Yeah, I was doing moderately ok until they showed the older gentleman sitting down with the dog. Then the invisible ninja’s started chopping onions behind me, they could have at least left me a tissue…

  • Marie

Yeah! I work there! :-D (Video slightly before my time though)

His name is Jerry and he’s there nearly every day as a “dog companion.” He sit in the lobby with a few of our long timers introducing them to visitors. He’s great. I remember him being there a few years ago when I adopted my older dog, before I volunteered or worked there.

Well, he’s lovely. And what’s with the sudden indoor rain on my face? Clearly, I need a puppy, stat.

  • John W

That was a slice of awesome.

This isn’t sad, but I’m still crying. DAMN YOU ONION NINJAS!

  • Camille Monae

The dog’s face at the end had me cracking up. But i guess i’m a robot since there were no tears

This is one of the best facilities I have ever seen for an animal rescue – and it seems like you have an amazing team. Congrats all, from a fellow volunteer!

    He’s the best guy ever.
It didn’t help the indoor rain situation that the dog he was sitting with looked exactly like Puppy Doe, back when she was with her family. And now I have to stop thinking about that, because I will spend the rest of the day sobbing if I don’t.
