This top ten list of the highest-paid actors on the planet features Robert Downey, Jr. in the top slot; he may not be as wealthy as fictional billionaire Tony Stark, but RDJ is getting there, having collected an $80 million dollar haul this past year. The two runners-up are Jackie Chan and Vin Diesel; the full list features actors from around the world, including Bollywood stars Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar. Adam Sandler somehow clocks in at number 5, which is depressing for obvious reasons.
It’s rad to see the diverse range of actors from around the world who’ve had such great successes this year, and it’s also neat to see a genre fiction favorite like RDJ making bank. But we should probably also mention that every single person on this top ten list is a man. Hmm.
