Not all our readers will appreciate the significance of July 1st, but for those of you who do, I salute you! (But not too vigorously. I don’t want anyone to think I’m uppity about the great and bountiful nation from whence we hail.) In honor of Canada Day, musical astronaut Chris Hadfield and his brother Dave Hadfield have released “a polite song from two brothers who are just hoping your day is going okay,” that explains the ins and oots of our great nation.

A landlocked Chris even took to Twitter to wish Canucks everywhere a very happy day:
