This Game of Thrones Performance By “Brutal Ballet” Is The Most Metal Ballet Ever

In the Game of Thrones ballet, you fouetté or you die.

Ballet is far too graceful a medium for something as vicious as Game of Thrones, which makes Brutal Ballet’s all-metal GOT dance the most genre-appropriate performance of all time.

Brutal Ballet is a company located in Belfast that sets their delicate dances to head-banging hard-core metal tunes. For their performance at Titancon, the metalest ballerinas on the planet danced to a metal version of the iconic Game of Thrones theme, made by Lizzard Wizzard.

Awesomely, Aimee Richardson (Myrcella Baratheon), Eugene Simon (Lancel Lannister), and Kerry Ingram (Shireen Baratheon) were in attendance at the performance, and hung out with the dancers afterwards for photos.

BBC News visited Brutal Ballet’s studio in Belfast and profiled them before their big Game of Thrones performance, and – as a former ballerina – I have to say it looks like my kind of company.

Tattoos, metal, GRRM, and baggy tees for everyone!
