Doctor Who Season 8 Gets a Release Date, New Teaser

We knew the release month of season 8 of Doctor Who before, but now we have an exact date: Aug. 23, at 8 PM. To announce the premiere, BBC America has released this appropriately dramatic video. In advance of the premiere, stars Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman will land the TARDIS for their first US appearance together as part of the Doctor Who world tour. The New York date is Thursday, August 14th.
