Woman in a fender bender reportedly cried over missing her hair appointment, then told the other driver ‘you scare me’
Her hair appointment came before her insurance.

Minor crashes often turn into viral moments on TikTok, as seen in an Arizona fender bender outside a Krispy Kreme. A video shows a woman crying after a fender bender because she feared missing her hair appointment, according to Atlanta Black Star.
The clip shows a white driver reacting with emotion after reportedly hitting a car driven by a Black man who goes by @gwxxpo or Wayy online. Wayy stayed calm throughout, even as the woman appeared to refuse to hand over her insurance information and hyperventilate.
At one point, she jumped from talking about her hair appointment to mentioning Tyler, the Creator. She told Wayy she thought the artist had a good album, but also found him scary.
He reportedly kept asking for her insurance, and she kept saying she was scared
When Wayy tried to get the insurance exchange moving, the woman seemed totally lost. He asked her on camera, “What in the world? This is my insurance. I’m trying to get yours. You don’t have insurance?” He also offered a way out by asking if she had cash on her so he could leave the scene.
She reportedly suggested driving off to an ATM, but Wayy turned that down and asked what she had in her wallet instead. Her only response was “I’m scared,” and she continued to cry. She also told him, “You scare me,” during the exchange, though Wayy appeared unfazed throughout.
Wayy eventually decided not to call the police, and he addressed the criticism directly. “Everybody saying I should have called the police, but then we wouldn’t have this masterpiece of a video,” Wayy wrote on TikTok. He also confirmed in a follow-up comment that the meltdown was real after one viewer asked, “I’m crying. Is this a skit?”
Other viewers were more critical of her behavior. A top comment read, “Weaponized incompetence. Call the police,” while another user wrote, “She’s not scared, she’s caught.” However, a few commenters suggested her reaction might have been genuine stress rather than a performance.
The video appears to end with Wayy asking for her Venmo. It’s unclear whether she ever paid for any damage from the fender bender or shared her insurance details, as the clip doesn’t show any follow-up from either driver.
A lot of drivers on the road apparently don’t carry insurance at all
Wayy’s push for paperwork follows standard advice for a fender bender, as insurers rely on those details to process a claim. AAA tells drivers to collect the other motorist’s name, license number, insurance carrier, and policy number before leaving the scene. However, a cash payment on the spot could leave little for an insurer to use if more damage turns up later.
Drivers in Wayy’s position face real odds of meeting an uninsured motorist, as the share of drivers without coverage has climbed in recent years. About 15.4% of motorists were uninsured in 2023, according to Insurance Research Council figures cited by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners. The council’s 2025 report found one in three drivers was uninsured or underinsured.
Drivers hit by an uninsured motorist can often recover repair costs through their own uninsured motorist coverage, which some states require. Whether Wayy files a claim over the fender bender, or ever receives a Venmo payment, has not been made public.
