Woman Getting Her Brows Done Repeatedly Mentions 9/11 and Israel During Appointment. Then Her Brow Artist Had Enough and Asks Her to Leave
The client claimed to be Israeli-American.

A woman went to get her eyebrows done by a Virginia-based brow artist. However, the appointment abruptly ended mid-session when the woman kept talking about 9/11, Israel, and other political issues and was subsequently asked to leave. The incident was shared in a video on TikTok by brow artist Fatana (@karimibrows), who operates under Karimi Brows.
According to Fatana, her client had immediately asked personal questions when she arrived, such as where she was from. When the client learned Fatana was from Afghanistan, she allegedly told the brow artist that she was writing a novel centered around the country. Fatana claimed that the client kept steering the conversation back to politics and Afghanistan, despite Fatana’s attempt to focus on her brows and the services she wanted.
Fatana said she entertained her client’s questions about Afghanistan during the session, intending to provide information for the novel. However, Fatana alleged that the conversation shifted to more serious topics such as 9/11, with the client supposedly asking who Fatana thought the U.S. should have invaded after.
Brow artist had had enough of debating about Israel
Fatana said she tried to change the subject back to the novel’s client instead, and learned that the client was writing about a young Israeli and Afghan boy moving to America to join the U.S. Army. According to Fatana, she found the concept beautiful “except for the Israeli part,” and told the client as much. Fatana said she was open with her views against Israel.
Fatana claimed that the client’s background didn’t matter when she learned the client was Israeli-American, as she believed that not all Israelis supported the actions of their government. She seemingly shoved judgment aside and continued with the appointment. However, the client allegedly kept talking about Afghanistan, Israel, and land ownership, and tried to change Fatana’s opinion. According to Fatana, she decided to just end the session despite not having finished.
According to Fatana, she made the client aware that she doesn’t support Israel and ended the session due to the political talk. “If I wanted to get into politics, I would have ran for office. I do eyebrows,” Fatana said. She supposedly requested the client leave afterward. Fatana’s request doesn’t seem far-fetched, as this isn’t the first time a service was denied by a business.
Fatana also shared a recording showing her dispute with her client. In the footage, the client accused the brow artist of stealing her money for ending the session, since she gave Fatana a deposit for the appointment. Fatana claimed to have denied this and also informed the client that she signed a video release form.
Client says she was denied service because of her ethnicity
The client defended herself and alleged that she and Fatana were “having a great conversation.” But Fatana refuted this and expressed her dislike that the client kept defending Israel, adding that she doesn’t offer her services to Israel supporters, and that she is openly against Israel on her social media. According to Fatana, her client also claimed that “there is no genocide” happening, referring to the war currently happening in Gaza.
The client allegedly accused Fatana of denying her service due to her Israeli ethnicity and threatened to take legal action to get her deposit back. Fatana claimed that since the incident, the client had contacted her email and phone persistently, posted about her on social media, and sent threats.
Viewers poured in their support for Fatana’s decision, and theorized that the client specifically booked an appointment with Fatana due to her views on Israel. “She 100% saw your Instagram and she 100% targeted you,” one comment said. “I am convinced she came specifically to harass you,” another said.
Some pointed out that the client began focusing on her ethnicity when she saw Fatana was recording. “That’s a dangerous woman. She IMMEDIATELY started acting like y’all were NEVER talking about politics & started emphasizing that it was about her ethnicity as soon as you started recording,” a user said. Others were confused by her line of thinking: “I’m just confused on her politics… like how can she have empathy for the Afghan people and be obsessed with them but not see the harm Israel is doing to Palestinians?”
Despite the situation, Fatana said she aims to create a “safe, comfortable, and respectful environment” for both her and her clients. She emphasized that her studio is a neutral space for beauty, art, and mutual respect.
