As mentioned earlier, @..rebekah.reese posted a video on her TikTok account on February 17, 2025, where she discussed her experience living with her father. She started the video strongly by mentioning that she would talk about the time she found a hidden camera in her room. To give context, Rebekah said she lived with her father from sixth grade until the summer before her senior year. Her mother lived in Washington, which was a 36-hour drive or a six-hour flight for her.
Moving on to the story she focused on in her video, @..rebekah.reese explained that around 3 o’clock in the morning one day, she heard banging on her door. She was understandably taken aback, and when she opened it, she saw her stepmom, who was shaking, whispering, and not saying much. Then, after a while, she showed Rebekah a phone and told her there was a hidden camera in her room. They then started searching for the camera. At this point, in the video, @..rebekah.reese mentioned that her stepmom found out about the camera by looking through her husband’s phone. Coming back to the story, Rebekah mentioned that the camera was facing Rebekah’s bed and was embedded between the slats. To remove it, Rebekah and her stepmom had to go into her closet and nearly excavate it out of the wall.
In the video, Rebekah states that after retrieving the camera, they didn’t know what to do because they were shocked. Rebekah also mentioned that her father and stepmom were having marriage problems, and tensions were high. Adding to that, the fact that her father was creepily spying on her through a camera while she had boyfriends over and was sexually active (something her father knew and assured her was a safe space for her) made the situation even more unsettling. She then returns to her story, saying that around 4 or 5 a.m., her father came out of his room, and her stepmom went on a rant about what had happened and what she had discovered. Rebekah recalls that her father kept trying to brush things off when she confronted him about the camera or proceeded to talk about other things, like his troubled marriage. After this, she said she went to sleep. The next morning, her father came to her without showing any remorse and told her that if she thought what he did was weird or malicious, she should call the cops and have him jailed. In a separate video, Rebekah mentioned that she eventually moved out of her father’s place.
