Trump’s lies get exposed in 3D as Saudi Arabia denies trying to prolong the US’s war against Iran

According to an article published in the New York Times on March 24, 2026, Saudi Arabia is reportedly encouraging Donald Trump to continue the conflict with Iran. The source states that Saudi Arabia’s Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, apparently told Trump last week that the war in Iran presented a great opportunity to reshape the country, possibly through regime change. When asked about the widely circulated online report, Trump said that Mohammed bin Salman was a “warrior” fighting alongside the US. He also added that, besides Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Qatar were assisting the United States with Iran.

However, an update from Saudi Arabia that has also been spreading online states that the country’s authorities did not have any conversations with Donald Trump, indicating they would want to extend the war in Iran. A miscommunication or a lie? Decide for yourself.

Saudi Arabia Denies Pressuring Trump to Continue Attacking Iran

After the New York Times published an article claiming that Saudi Arabia was encouraging the United States to keep attacking Iran, and Trump made a similar statement during a recent press conference, Saudi Arabia’s official sources are denying the report.

According to an article published by Asharq Al-Awsat on March 25, 2026, a senior official at the Saudi Foreign Ministry told the newspaper that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia denied claims that its leadership favors extending the war that the US and Israel are waging against Iran. However, the source noted that Saudi Arabia is monitoring all of Iran’s aggressive actions toward them, and if Iran does not stop attacking, they will be compelled to respond with all available means, including political measures. Additionally, the Saudi government, in a statement saidthat the country “has always supported a peaceful resolution to this conflict, even before it began.” It also emphasized that Saudi Arabia remains “in close contact with the Trump administration” and that their “commitment remains unchanged.”

Trump announces he is halting attacks on Iran for ten days

On Thursday, Donald Trump took to Truth Social to announce that, instead of five days, he would pause attacks on Iran for ten days while negotiations between Iran and the US continue. In his post, he also urged people not to pay attention to the “erroneous” news circulated by “Fake News Media.”

He wrote, “As per Iranian Government request, please let this statement serve to represent that I am pausing the period of Energy Plant destruction by 10 Days to Monday, April 6, 2026, at 8 P.M., Eastern Time. Talks are ongoing and, despite erroneous statements to the contrary by the Fake News Media, and others, they are going very well.”
