Things We Saw Today: Jon Snow Knows Mothers

Kinda, sorta, well okay, not really.

This video, while adorable and heartbreaking at the same time, simply raises more questions for me. Do they celebrate Mother’s Day in Westeros? Why was Hodor hiding in the curtain? Why am I laughing so hard?!

  • Microsoft is apparently working on a set of goggles that will make you the Daredevil or emotions. Or something like that. They’re supposed to let you know how everyone around you is feeling by analyzing other people’s faces. It’s staggering to think how many relationships this might save. (via Geek)
  • Bit of Preacher casting news for you: Jamie Anne Allman (The Killing) and Derek Wilson (Rectify) have just been announced as Betsy and Donny Schenck. The Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg series seems to be shaping up real well! (via /Film)

I hate it when these movies get too cheesy, and the fact that they’re always set in the mall. But mostly I hate the way I don’t hate this tribute. Not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all. (via Nerdist)

James McAvoy has (finally) ditched the long locks on his Professor X look and has taken the plunge, shaving his head. Finally, no more feedback from the hair follicles. He’ll get much better psychic reception now. (via Comic Book Resources)

Again, today is Mother’s Day. To any and all of our readers who consider themselves mom in every single sense of the word, we’d like to wish you the best and the happiest Mother’s Day.
