Things We Saw Today: Quidditch Beer Pong Puts a New Spin on a Fandom Favorite

Did you know Quidditch Beer Pong is a thing now?! Well, thanks to the handy creators of Unofficial Quidditch Pong, you can now own the materials to make your next party that much more thrilling. (Technically, they’re sold out right now–but this is kind of a great way to have fun while engaging in your favorite Harry Potter game, right?) (via Gizmodo)

  • Olivia Munn posted a new photo on her Instagram account on the set of X-Men Apocalypse. According to Munn, the character of Psylocke “chooses to kill with a sword because she wants to do it up close and intimate and killing from afar just seems too easy and no fun.” (via /Film)
  • Jason Wingreen, who most know from his role in All in the Family but who also provided the voice of Boba Fett in The Empire Strikes Back, died on Christmas at the age of 95. (via The Hollywood Reporter)

The first footage from Moana is here! I’m ridiculously excited about this movie. (via Comic Book Resources)

  • James Gunn has seen Captain America: Civil War and says that Tom Holland is “off-the-charts awesome” as Spider-Man. I’m reserving judgment as of now, but I’m curious to know just how much we’ll see of Peter Parker. (via GammaSquad)
  • Did you know the director of Attack the Block (starring The Force Awakens‘ John Boyega) used to make movie spoofs starring stuffed animals? Yep. (via Gizmodo)
