They Played with an Ouija Board After Watching ‘Big Fish.’ Then Her Friend Was Told She Was Going to Die at 22

Escalation Bunny (@escalationbunny) told TikTok about a Ouija board game she played with her childhood best friend, Christina. What was supposedly a creepy game allegedly became an ominous prediction for Christina.

“I’m gonna tell you a story that only three people know. Well, two, because one of them is dead,” Bunny prefaced on TikTok. 20 years ago, when she and her friend Christina were just twelve, Bunny said they were inseparable. They also used to hang out with Christina’s older sister at their family home, which Bunny felt uncomfortable in.

“It looked like a normal suburban house on the outside, but I swear you walked in, and it was like a portal to the underworld,” Bunny claimed. She said she used to hear screams from the attic of Christina’s home. While looking into a dark hallway in the house, Bunny said she used to see shadows moving at night.

“To make matters worse, we would sit in her room with the lights dim, pull out the Ouija board, and play all the time,” Bunny recalled. She also said that the Ouija board only worked for Christina. Bunny and Christina’s sister thought it was fake because the board often moved quickly, but it never worked without Christina.

An omen from the Ouija board

The friends just finished watching Big Fish, and Bunny said the characters in the movie could ask the witch how old they would be when they die. Bunny said, “Christina loved this idea.” Her friend pulled out the Ouija board and asked how old she would be when she died.

“Planchette slowly starts to move towards the numbers, and it hovers over the two. And then it takes a little bit of a movement back and comes right back to the two,” Bunny said. Without hesitation, she saw her friend calmly write the answer down in her red notebook.

“Little did we know, something was set in motion,” Bunny added. A year after the Ouija board game, Bunny said Christina’s middle school boyfriend passed away because of a gruesome accident. He wasn’t trying to prank anyone with ropes, unlike these two siblings. Rather, he was hanging a rope swing for his baby sister in the backyard when tragedy struck.

“Parents got home and found the little girl screaming in the backyard, looking at her brother hanging by the tree,” Bunny recounted. She noted that while Christina felt upset about the incident, her friend also seemed distant. Christina allegedly told Bunny she felt like she would see her boyfriend soon and that she didn’t see herself growing old.

“For the sake of being able to sleep at night, I wrote off a lot of these things,” Bunny said. She and Christina drifted apart over the years, but she observed that her friend had a relatively normal life. Bunny claimed Christina got a job and a fiancé and looked happy. Eventually, her friend got married at 21.

A prophecy fulfilled

“I didn’t go to the wedding, but I saw this footage later,” Bunny said. She claimed there was a clip from the wedding. Christina was at the altar, all smiles and taking photos with her family. In the background, Bunny said a little girl was singing the Itsy Bitsy Spider. Christina called the little girl, Kenna, to take photos with them.

“And then you get a great view of this beautiful little flower girl, sitting in a pew, holding a Bible upside down, singing the Itsy Bitsy Spider,” Bunny alleged. She said Kenna slowly walked forward towards the altar and asked a strange question.

“I [expletive] you not, this three-year-old looks up at this bride and says, ‘Christina, are you gonna die soon?’ Freaked out when she heard this,” Bunny said. She recalled how often her friend talked about death as a teen and found Christina’s reaction in the footage odd. Aside from seeing a woman object at a Texas wedding, the bride being asked about her death day is, nevertheless, uncanny and unsettling.

Bunny believes that because Christina was five months pregnant at the time, her friend’s perspective on life might have changed. A year later, Bunny found out Christina was staying at a cabin in the woods with her family for a celebration.

“It seemed like one of those days where nothing could go wrong,” Bunny claimed. But while Christina and another friend took the family four-wheeler truck out for a ride, the brakes failed. Bunny said Christina and the friend flew off a cliff. While both of them were rushed to the hospital, Christina was dead on arrival. Bunny chillingly revealed that Christina was 22 when it happened.
