‘They care so much about life until life actually shows up’: Jasmine Crockett lashes out at the Republicans again, this time for using religion as propaganda
Over the past few months, United States Representative Jasmine Crockett has emerged as one of the most vocal opponents of Donald Trump and his administration. On numerous occasions, she has called out the Dorito dictator for his misconduct, which almost always comes at the expense of the American people. She is once again making headlines during a recent media interaction that has attracted online attention.
On November 30, Jasmine Crockett was featured on the “The Weekend” segment of MS Now for an interview where she discussed immigration under the Trump administration. When asked to comment on the rising rates of children being detained by the current government as part of their “illegal alien” eradication efforts, Crockett laid everything out for everyone to see and emphasised that the Republican Party is committing atrocities against small children despite being a “pro-life” group. She also criticised the Republican Party’s strong Christian stance, pointing out that they use religion to achieve their personal goals of power and control. She said:
“I just want to be clear. This is the party that says that, you know, they care so much about life until life actually shows up at their front door. Um, and this is also the party that supposedly is about Christianity, and I just imagine what they would have done to a little baby Jesus, but that’s a whole other issue.”
She went on to say that the previous Trump administration was characterised by Donald Trump putting children in cages, so when he was re-elected for a second time this year, she expected the worst to happen, and that he did not disappoint her on that front. She also expressed dissatisfaction over the people who voted for him, remarking that the American people got “amnesia” after Trump was kicked out of office during his first term. She also stated that the Trump administration has been terrorising children who were born in America, and those who weren’t, as well as adults.
