The Daily Show drags Trump with a slideshow of his most humiliating moments

It’s no secret that Donald Trump is a massive hypocrite, and so are members of his administration. The things these people say they have a problem with their opposition doing, they end up doing just 2 days later. However, when they do it, they don’t want to be held accountable for it. But that is happening no more.

In a recent episode of The Daily Show, host Jon Stewart shed light on the double standards of Trump and his Republican brothers with the help of a presentation. The first half of the video contained all the times GOP members, including Trump, have accused the left of using unfavourable language against them, including calling them “fascists” and “nazis”. Cut to the second half of the video, Trump is calling Democrat members the same names that he and his people had a problem with. What even?

Jon Stewart is making an interesting observation about Donald Trump

In a video that is currently going viral on social media, especially on X (formerly Twitter), Jon Stewart in a segment of The Daily Show is seen saying, “So here’s some examples of things you cannot say about your political opponents” then proceeding to show a montage of clips taken of multiple Republicans and Republican leaning individuals listing the things their opposition could not refer to them as. In that list were the terms, fascist, nazi, enemies of the state, “someone who is less than human.” As the clip ended, Stewart thanked the people featured in the video and acknowledged that the terms they pointed out should not be used while attacking politicians.

However, the second part of the video plays, and it sees Donald Trump referring to Democrats as fascists, a “demonic Party,” Joe Biden as “an enemy of the state,” and Nancy Pelosi as an animal. This persuades Stewart to make a cheeky remark about Trump, saying, “Technically, correct. She’s not a mineral.” Stewart then proceeds to show all the other times Trump made pointed remarks at Democrats, including the offensive post he made about Nancy Pelosi’s husband.

Jon Stewart also takes a jab at United States Secretary of War Pete Hegseth

Towards the end of the video, United States Secretary of War Pete Hegseth made a surprise appearance, who was back then a Fox News correspondent. In the featured video, Hegseth and her co-worker were discussing Nancy Pelosi and her husband, definitely not in a good way.

As the video cuts, Stewart says that Hegseth had to face the consequences of making such uncalled-for remarks about Pelosi, adding that he had to leave television. He then said, “I am not sure where he went, but I’m sure it’s not some prestigious, consequential position he’s not remotely qualified for.
