‘That’s the way it is’: Military Wife Outraged at Trump’s Indifferent Comment on Soldier Deaths

Wife of a service member criticizes Trump's decision to attack Iran

President Donald Trump recognizes that there are more people in the military who might die because of the conflict he started against Iran. Kendall Brown, the wife of an active service member in the military, shared her frustrations about his statement on TikTok.

“As one nation, we grieve for the true American patriots who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. And sadly, there will likely be more before it ends,” Trump said during an address regarding updates on Iran.

“That’s the way it is,” he says, then promises to avenge the deaths of the fallen military members.

Brown was not impressed and posted a now-viral clip on TikTok.

“I know conservatives will defend the flippant way he spoke about the deaths of service members,” she continues, “and I know they would absolutely flip… If any Democrat ever talked about any service member death like this.”

She adds, “And when they flipped… they would pretend that they were doing it on behalf of service members and their families.” She accuses conservatives of feigning offense for the sake of the aggrieved families of service members. This concern is superficial in her view, because she believes that conservatives do not care if service members die under Trump.

During Trump’s campaign, a report alleging that the president cancelled a visit to Aisne-Marne American Cemetery went viral. Additionally, the president had a history of insulting former Senator John McCain over his war injuries.

But possibly sending troops to Iran in the name of preemptive measures is perhaps the biggest act of disrespect on record.

Receiving Hate from MAGA

“Until that’s your spouse or your child, and you have to live with the knowledge that they could come home in a box at any given day, don’t you ever tell me to shut my mouth.” Brown claims that ‘thousands’ of people have been messaging her to keep quiet about her sentiments on Trump’s war against Iran.

“As long as your side is continuing to send men and women unnecessarily overseas to die and to kill innocent people, I’m going to continue speaking out.” In her follow-up video, Brown has made it clear that she won’t stay quiet on the issue.
