Stranger Things Releases a “Title Tease” for Season 3

Recommended Videos

Stranger Things has released a teaser for season three, so fans can spend a few good months getting their theories and conspiracies ready for the new season.

The teaser doesn’t show us any new footage, but rather sets the title sequence to the eight episode titles for the upcoming season. The description reads “In the summer of 1985, the adventure continues.” The titles are:

“Suzie, Do You Copy?”

“The Mall Rats”

“The Case of the Missing Life Guard”

“The Sauna Test”

“The Source”

“The Birthday”

“The Bite”

“The Battle of Starcourt”

There’s not that much to speculate from the list, but there’s sure to be some exciting new creatures and interactions with the Upside Down. Also, the Starcourt Mall, a pool probably (a life guard and a sauna), and some really tragic casualty (as is typical of Stranger Things).

1985 will also be an interesting year to see Stranger Things cover: Ronald Regan is sworn in for his second term. New Coke arrives. Windows 1.0 debuts. It’s the year of the NES game system hitting the US, “Take on Me”, Back to the Future, The Goonies, Breakfast Club, “We Are the World” and Live Aid.

What cultural touchstones do you think we’ll see in Hawkins? Fletch and Back to the Future are supposedly prominent influences on this specific season. David Harbour told Variety that they’ll “have some fun with this season, which you wouldn’t expect from Stranger Things and you wouldn’t expect from the Spielberg universe and you certainly wouldn’t expect from a darker season.”

The new season come to the streaming service 2019. Are you going to check it out?
