South Carolina Woman’s Hinge Date Tells Her She Looks ‘Just Like His Cousin’. She’s Stranded Two Hours From Home: ‘He Brings Out…dangerous Things’

Dating app horror stories are always a riveting watch for those hungry for drama on TikTok. Most people have a bad date story or two, but they often pale in comparison to some of the wild things other people claim to have been through. The wildest ones often end up going viral on TikTok.
Well, one woman on TikTok seems to have the others beat with her bizarre and, quite frankly, frightening Hinge date. In a viral video, TikToker “Leenpat” (or just Leen) explained that she matched with a man who, in her words, is “gorgeous.” She goes on to compare him to the character of Leo from the popular TV show Tell Me Lies.
Things start well with the Leo-lookalike, whom she gives the pseudonym “Tony,” making the effort to drive two hours to meet Leen for their first date. Tony had even brought flowers, and it sounded like he was giving off major green flag energy. At least in the beginning.
Things take a turn on the second date
For the second date, Tony suggested that Leen come to him; however, she describes feeling “sketched out for whatever reason.” She claims Tony was giving off Armie Hammer vibes, the actor accused of sexual assault several years ago. She even mentioned worrying that her date was a cannibal, but ultimately, she decided to ignore those feelings.
While the date starts well, things take a turn when the man starts bringing up some odd talking points. “He was like, ‘You know what? You look just like my cousin.’” According to Leen he then showed her a picture of his cousin, who, she admits, looked identical to her. This led her to conclude, “This guy wants to f–k his cousin.”
However, apparently the weirdness doesn’t stop there. Leen claims her date brought out “things,” and not just any things, but “dangerous things like, like, for the bedroom.”
The two then apparently started having pillow talk, and it’s then that Tony allegedly drops the biggest bombshell yet: “He reveals to me that, when he was in like third grade, him and his sister got like really curious.” She goes on to claim Tony and his sister were in an incestuous relationship until “a couple of years ago.”
At this point, Leen claimed she was “fawning,” which, for some, is a trauma response: “I’m like, I’m actually in danger.” She realized it was too late to leave and that she was two hours from home and she had been drinking, meaning she couldn’t drive. Luckily, she was able to keep him talking, acting as a sort of “therapist” until he fell asleep.
There won’t be a third date
Leen says she left the terrifying situation and ultimately broke things off with Tony, telling him she wanted someone who had a relationship with God. Leen claims his response was inappropriate and sexual in nature, although she doesn’t specify what he said.
Viewers were simultaneously enthralled and disgusted by her story: “Baby you’re a victim,” one comment reads, “This is like a real life example of butterflies are actually a warning.” another commenter quipped.
