As part of BOOM! Studios’ “Road to San Diego” campaign, we here at The Mary Sue are proud to help announce a brand new comic coming to shelves this November from their imprint, BOOM! Box.
SLAM! is a comic book that revolves around a women’s roller derby team. While we can’t announce the creative team behind the book just yet, you can probably take some pretty solidly educated guesses as to who might be involved just by taking a gander at the character art above.
If you’re super curious about who the team might be behind this title, you can find out for yourself… if you’re at San Diego Comic-Con, that is. There’s a BOOM! panel happening on Saturday at 12:30pm, wherein they’ll talk about all the happenings on at BOOM! and reveal just who might be behind SLAM!
