She Gave Her Best Friend a Job. Then He Allegedly Stole $200,000 From Her
She kept giving him chances and he allegedly failed her every single time.

Ava Louise (@realavalouiise), who rose to fame with her song ‘Skinny Legend Anthem’ in 2020, went online to accuse her former best friend of stealing over $200,000 from their joint business account. The singer also sued the man and formed a settlement agreement.
“I was best friends with this guy since we were young. If you asked anyone from my high school, they would tell you we were literally attached at the hip,” Ava told TikTok about her unnamed ex-best friend. The singer claims she came from an abusive home, and her best friend became her family. To further emphasize how close they were, she agreed to get into a lavender marriage with him if they didn’t find their match. Ava also promised that if he and his future husband wanted children, she would give them her eggs.
“There has been a pattern of him blocking all of his friends. The second he feels his friend has done something that slights him, they get blocked,” Ava claimed. The singer further alleged that her ex-friend couldn’t bear to see people go through hard times and would block them too. Nevertheless, Ava didn’t think he would block her one day in 2018, when her life was falling apart after a bad breakup.
On and off best friend
“Two years later, I became TikTok famous,” Ava said. In 2020, her song trended on TikTok, and she became a successful OnlyFans model. She met her best friend at the bar one day, two years after he blocked her out. Ava believes that because of her newfound fame, her best friend unblocked her on social media and asked to have a photo with her. They reconnected since, and Ava started bringing him to photoshoots in Los Angeles, letting him hang out with other famous people.
Ava then offered to move him in with her. She allegedly paid the majority of the rent. Ava said, “We got there. He’s got financial issues. I have him start working for me, and I became his boss, but I never treated him like I was his boss.” To help him rebuild, she started a business with him, which they shared 50/50.
“I wanted him to have something he felt like was his, even though this business could not run without me,” Ava claimed. But early on in the business, she alleged that he stole money from her bank account. Her best friend allegedly claimed he was manipulated by their business manager, and Ava chose to forgive him.
Then, Ava claimed her ex-best friend started getting resentful of her after she was cast on a reality TV show. During this time, her best friend allegedly kept asking her for more clients because he had to pay $12,000 in taxes. Ava was befuddled by his situation, alleging that he could buy Prada loafers and a Tiffany & Co. bracelet but not afford to pay his bill. Nevertheless, she still had to fly to Los Angeles for her reality TV show, so she left him for a month and a half.
Returning to a broken home
While filming, her best friend allegedly told her about his dire financial situation. He also claimed he couldn’t afford to live in their apartment anymore. That’s when Ava confronted him about his behavior.
“Listen, you are my best friend, but you haven’t felt like my best friend in such a long time,” Ava said through text. She was upset that he only came to her for money, and yet he allegedly kept crossing her boundaries. Ava bad feeling about the situation, so she asked her ex’s mother to check on the apartment.
Ava claimed that when her ex’s mother checked, her best friend was gone. He had allegedly taken everything. Additionally, every single window was open on the 68th floor of the apartment they lived in.
“My ex’s mom went into the bathroom and found my two cats shivering under a towel. You cannot leave hairless cats in an apartment by themselves with the windows open and the air conditioner blasting,” Ava said. She added that her pet turtle didn’t fare any better and was found without water in its enclosure. Distressed by what allegedly happened to her pets, Ava flew home immediately and nursed her pets back to health.
Growing a backbone
Ava’s relationship with her best friend had been shaken up. But then, she realized that she was still running a business with him. After she had calmed down, she went to the bank to check their business bank account.
“I found out that our joint business bank account had been closed,” Ava claimed. After a year, she learned that her best friend had allegedly moved to New York City. He was also still allegedly running the same business they used to, but without her. When she sued him, Ava also realized that she wasn’t getting her fair share.
“This man stole over $200,000. I was not getting paid 50%—I was getting paid 10%. He was taking all the money,” she alleged. Because her best friend spent it all, they settled for $50,000. He paid $40,000 and planned to pay $10,000 over time. Ava’s best friend would allegedly fail to pay her, and she found out he had more debt because of the bankruptcy letter.
“This man is $110,000 in debt. He only has $500 in his bank account, and he only has an income of only $5,000,” Ava claimed. Although he’s in a desperate financial situation, Ava felt redeemed, calling the situation “karma.” Not all friends are forever, and this New Jersey woman found out when her ex-best friend scrambled to see her at her worst.
