Zoe Saldana May Have Just Confirmed Benicio Del Toro’s Return to Guardians of the Galaxy 2

Recommended Videos

Zoe Saldana and her husabnd, Marco Perego Saldana, took to Facebook to thank Benicio Del Toro for his performance in Sicario… and to also start up the hype machine around Del Toro’s possible return to Guardians of the Galaxy 2.

The video, which is mostly in Spanish, thanks Del Toro for the work he did in his latest film, Sicario. The Saldanas were apparently big fans of the movie, since they broadcast their thanks over Facebook Live. But the biggest deal about this video is right at the end. Just as Saldana is saying goodbye, she adds in, “See you on Guardians!”

We might be jumping at shadows, but that sounded like she might be referring to seeing him when they shoot Guardians 2 next year. If that’s true, the Del Toro’s going to be a super busy man as he’s also supposed to be featured in Star Wars: Episode VIII.

For whatever it’s worth, James Gunn liked the video she posted. So… there’s that.
