The Dick Tracy comic above never ran in any newspaper: Rather, it was generated by Comics Curmudgeon’s handy randomizer, which grabs three random panels from the Dick Tracy comics of the past two months and mashes them together. The creators note, “OK, it’s not completely random: strips are assembled from one randomly-selected “Dick Tracy” panel, one “Other Person” panel, and one “Building or Object” panel, and then presented in random order.” These look scarily like real Dick Tracy comics.
