The Quinn App Really Wants the Fans to Flock to Their Audio Series

Sex sells, as the old saying goes, which is probably why Quinn has been doing so well.
As per Variety, founder Caroline Spiegel has watched her platform go from strength to strength since she created it back in 2019 as a college student. When it was released an app in 2021, there was an explosion of interest as users downloaded it in droves to listen to hundreds of romance novels read in alluring, sensual tones, delivered in bitesize chunks.
Spiegel could have rested on her laurels, but in 2022 she launched a new service: Quinn Originals. With the latest batch of content, she hired celebrities to read these new, exclusive and very hot stories, and the roster of names she has rounded up to narrate the sexy tales is as impressive as any red carpet event.
Quinn users can listen to steamy stories narrated by Andrew Scott, Tyriq Withers, and of course, Heated Rivalry stars Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams, who Spiegel locked down months before the show became a global phenomenon after she saw a trailer for the gay romance on TikTok. In an unsurprising turn of events, their series “Ember and Ice” is currently the most popular on the platform.
Siegel doesn’t just throw contracts at random big names, ensuring the celebs she gets are hot in more ways than one. Christopher Briney debuted on Quinn just a couple of days after The Summer I turned Pretty dropped its series finale, and the Shawn Hatosy narrated “Yes Chef” is set to be released this week, taking advantage of the popularity of The Pitt.
Steamy fiction is having a real moment, whether it’s Quinn’s unique proposition of the incredibly popular works of Sarah J Mass, and the audio app seems poised to shoot into the stratosphere. All that remains to see is which big name Spiegel signs up next.
