Cry a Little With This Incredibly Touching Fan-made Pixar Tribute

Emotions. Emotions everywhere.

Pixar fan and film editor Kees van Dijkhuizen Jr. created this incredibly touching Pixar tribute that takes some of the most heartwarming and emotional moments in Pixar’s movie history and sets them to “Stuff We Did,” that One Song from Up. You know the one I’m talking about. As of about a week ago, it has been 20 years since Pixar hit it big with their first major animated feature, Toy Story, which this tribute was created for.

Interspersed between bits of the lonely piano tune are clips of Andrew Stanton’s TED Talk about stories. Stanton is a writer, director, and voice actor over at Pixar and is responsible for some of our most favorite Pixar movies: all of the Toy Story movies, WALL-EFinding Nemo, and the upcoming Finding Dory. The video borrows from a lot of Pixar’s shorts, up to and including Sanjay’s Super Team and The Good Dinosaur, Pixar’s two latest releases.

It’s a very well made tribute—one that definitely made me a little misty.
