Pennsylvania man brings food scale to chipotle after seeing the 8oz double chicken. Staff looks him dead in the eye and says, ‘we can’t give you more’

Paying extra for more food usually means you expect to get more. But with an online order, it can be hard to know whether the portion you received matches what you paid for.
That can become a problem when a customer thinks something is missing, but the restaurant says the order is correct. Most people have no easy way to prove who is right.
TikTok creator Isaac (@ijmdz) says that happened after he ordered double chicken from a Chipotle in Pennsylvania. When an employee allegedly refused to give him more, Isaac remembered he had something in his car that could settle the question.
But Isaac wasn’t convinced
In a TikTok video that has received around 3 million views, Isaac says he ordered double chicken online before going to Chipotle to pick up his food. He says he opened the container at the restaurant because he wanted to check the portion before leaving.
What he saw immediately concerned him. Isaac says there appeared to be only a few pieces of chicken in the order, despite the additional amount he had paid for. “I ordered double chicken online, right?” he says in the video. “I open the pan when I get there cause you got to and it’s like 4 pieces of chicken.”
Isaac says he expected a regular serving of chicken to weigh about 4 ounces. Based on that expectation, he believed paying for double chicken should have given him roughly 8 ounces.
Rather than immediately arguing over it, he says he approached an employee and asked whether more chicken could be added. Isaac says he tried to make the request politely and explained that the portion did not look like double chicken. “I pay for double chicken. Is there anywhere I can get more?” he recalls asking.
According to Isaac, the employee did not agree. He claims the worker looked at him and responded, “No, that is double chicken. We can’t give you more.” That answer turned his complaint about how the portion looked into something he could actually measure.
Isaac says he went back to his car and grabbed a food scale from his gym bag. The scale was already with him because he was cutting, a fitness practice that commonly involves monitoring food intake while trying to reduce body fat. “I’m on a cut so yeah I had my scale on me,” he wrote in the video caption.
He then returned to the restaurant and says he placed the chicken on the scale. According to his video, the portion weighed 3.2 ounces. “That’s how much little chicken was in,” Isaac says. “3.2 ounces baby.”
For Isaac, the number was particularly frustrating because he says he expected approximately 8 ounces after paying for double chicken. His measurement would also put the portion below the approximately 4 ounces he says he expected from a single serving. Isaac’s account has not been independently verified. The video also does not confirm the restaurant’s required serving size.
Isaac is not the only Chipotle customer to question the chain’s portions. A Pittsburgh man previously complained about receiving only a few pieces of chicken after ordering double chicken online, while another customer said her Chipotle catering order came with portions that were too small for the number of meals she expected to make.
Still, viewers largely focused on the difference between what Isaac says he purchased and what appeared on his scale. “3.2 oz is not 8.0 oz,” one person commented. “You paid for a double scoop and they didn’t even give you a single … crazy work,” another wrote.
Others thought bringing out the scale was completely justified. “nah..that was an audit. good job,” one viewer wrote, while another said, “it IS that serious btw.”
