The UK Suffragette trailer is out and I find it glorious. Despite taking place in 1912, the struggle for gender equality is still incredibly relevant. When Meryl Streep’s Emmeline Pankhurst tells Carey Mulligan’s Maud “never surrender, never give up the fight,” you really feel like she’s talking to all of us.
Suffragette comes to the United Stated October 23rd.
