Let’s get this out of the way: He’s not playing Nova. That idea started circling on Friday, after it was suggested in a post by The Latino Review. However, director James Gunn put that rumor out to pasture yesterday via Twitter.

But take heart! Fillion will indeed be in the movie, though his role is still shrouded in mystery.
