First Trailer for Ian McKellen’s Mr.Holmes Is Here, Full of Bees (Beads?)

The long-awaited first trailer for the Ian-McKellen-does-Sherlock movie Mr. Holmes is finally here, and I’m not sure that I’m as on board as I’d expected to be, especially considering how much I enjoyed that clip we saw last month. McKellen seems born to play the iconic detective, and Laura Linney is reliably awesome, but otherwise this all seems a little…tame. (To be fair, I did just watch that new Age of Ultron trailer, so maybe I’m not in much of a period drama mood right now.)
