Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Loki (Tom Hiddleston) stand beside each other as Thor summons his hammer.

Marvel Is Giving Us Serialized Books for Thor, Black Panther, Black Widow, and More!

It seems as if Marvel knows we want all the content we can get because now, working with Serial Box, we’re going to get weekly audiobook/digital book “episodes” based on Thor, Black Panther, Black Widow, and more!

While Thor’s book will contain Loki, my favorite comes with the knowledge that the Black Widow book will feature the Winter Soldier. Whether that means that Natasha Romanoff and Bucky Barnes will square off while he’s still part of Hydra or after he escapes their grasp, we’ll have to see, but I’m in either way.

It’s exciting because the series is meant to serve as an accessible first foray for fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the world of Marvel comics, with the book versions based on their comics counterparts rather than the movies.

While we don’t know too much about the Black Widow or Black Panther series, we do know a lot about who is heading the Thor story. Alex de Campi announced on Instagram that she would be editing/showrunning the Thor project!

de Campi is teaming up with Aaaron Stewart-Ahn, Brian Keene, Jay Edidin, and Yoon Ha Lee to help bring Thor and Loki’s story to life.

All of this news about the Thor series is exciting, and I can’t wait to hear about the rest of Marvel’s plans. But, there still needs to be a showrunner for the Black Widow series, right? Would they like me to step up to the plate? I can do it.
