Man Claims He Attended Taylor Swift’s Wedding, and His NDA “Loophole” Gets Ridiculous

According to People, about a thousand people were invited to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding, and a man online claims he went as a plus- one. Ben (manchuwok1) alleged in a TikTok video he had to sign an NDA before attending Taylor Swift’s nuptials, but he modified one of the terms and sent it back. He alleged they didn’t notice the change, which gave him leverage.
“When I got it sent to me by her lawyers, by her team, I edited it. And in the edit I put a stipulation that said after 80 days I can talk about it, um, talk about the wedding. And I sent it back, thinking they would reply and say, ‘As if, buddy, sign the regular contract or you’re out.’ And then they signed it,” Ben said. He then claimed that the 80-day period was now over, so he would be talking about all that went down during the celebrations.
He started off strong, claiming that nobody at the wedding was allowed to use the words “I” and “me” except the bride and groom. Everyone else was apparently only permitted to use “us” and “we” when referring to themselves. Even if the first few seconds of the video seemed believable, it became immediately obvious after Ben said this that the video was intended as satire.
Ben alleged that there was a halftime show during Swift and Kelce’s wedding. Ben stated, “For that, they brought out a John Mayer cover artist, and they gave everybody tomatoes and said, just go crazy and throw them at him. And a lot of people did because they were afraid of getting kicked out if they didn’t follow orders.”
Ben’s last claim about Swift’s wedding was that she apparently made everyone “sit and watch her open every single gift” while Kelce played with a fidget spinner. Ben asserted, “But she would open it, announce who it was from, and then grade it on a scale from 1 to ten. Um, and that determined your party favor, your score, your grade there.” His unusual rant ended with him remarking that he had been to better weddings in the past.

Swift and Kelce took extreme measures to prevent leaks from their wedding, making it almost unbelievable that Ben could have bypassed their carefully curated system on a technicality no one noticed. In addition, the claims he makes in his video seem exaggerated for comedic effect. Taken together, these points rule out the possibility that Ben was welcome to the Swift-Kelce wedding. Moreover, reports suggest no plus-ones were entertained at the wedding.
Some commenters recognized this. One user wrote, “dont believe a word of this.” Another said, “even tho we know this is made up it honestly sounds exactly like what woulda went on there…so im totally here for this…please tell more amd please give the gossip on those lame guests they dont even know.”
A few people, however, appeared to believe Ben’s story. One person wrote, “Not very nice to come on here and trash the event.” Another commented, “you are smart. they probably didn’t even read the whole thing. there was probably just so many that they would just signed and that was it. you are clever.”
Ben uploaded another video highlighting the five things he thought were unique at Swift and Kelce’s wedding and made some wild claims yet again. One of them was that people could apparently buy Swift’s merchandise at the venue.
