‘MAGA is worthless’: Trump’s stooge, Elise Stefanik, gets booed off the stage by her own voters

The Republicans might be bragging about their rising approval ratings as much as they can, but that won’t change the reality on the ground, which is quite different from what they are claiming.

An increasing number of Americans, including committed Republican supporters and MAGA followers, are expressing their strong opposition to Donald Trump and his loyal associates. A clear instance of this was seen during U.S. Representative Elise Stefanik’s appearance at a New York event last August, where she was compelled to stop her speech midway and leave the stage after protesters began booing her.

When later asked about the incident, Stefanik showed visible discomfort and blamed it on the ‘far left’ (a typical response from Republicans like her). However, the protesters, who gathered in significant numbers, stated that their demonstration was due to Stefanik’s absence from her office for months and her failure to perform her duties as a U.S. representative. They mentioned that this was one of the first times in months they had seen Elise Stefanik in public, and they didn’t want to miss the opportunity to voice their grievances.

The video of Elise Stefanik from the New York event is resurfacing on social media and has become a topic of discussion for various reasons, primarily because the protesters were mostly Republican voters who were unhappy with the behaviour of some party members they previously vouched for. One user on X (formerly Twitter), while discussing the event, shared a modified image of a ‘Make America Great Again’ hat with the phrases ‘Distract, ‘ ‘Deflect,’ and ‘Deny Project’ written on it, and stated:

“MAGA is worthless.”

Another individual criticised Elise Stefanik for shifting blame onto the left for the protesters’ behaviour at the event, and said:

“Typical blame shifting at the end there. Feigning victimhood doesn’t work on your constituents anymore, Elise. They can see through your pathetic facade.”

Several others echoed similar sentiments about Elise Stefanik, agreeing that the GOP is starting to show cracks from within due to the growing antics of their leader and other party members.
