Happy Birthday, Leonard Nimoy

Even if we are a day late, we’d be remiss if we didn’t send some birthday wishes Leonard Nimoy’s way. Unlike his colleague, his birthday is accompanied by no “Talk Like Spock Day,” even though it’s within the same week and they’re the same age.

But I suppose that being cast as the epitome of rationality doesn’t leave much room for hamming it up, so instead you bag yourself recurring roles Star Trek: The Next Generation, make a mind-bendingly weird music video about Bilbo Baggins, and be the only original cast member with a plot essential role in the J.J. Abrams reboot.

Oh, and your character doesn’t die under a bridge. So there’s that. Happy 80th birthday!
