It’s been 17 hours since I first saw this promo pic of Game of Thrones‘ Kit Harington in the disaster pic Pompeii, and I’m still giggling about it. It’s like Jon Snow’s “Everything Sucks” face and then bam! Abs! This is what he wears under his voluminous Night’s Watch cloak, and you can’t convince me otherwise.
The outfit reminds me of Starz’ Spartacus, where everyone, male and female, went around half-naked all the time, even when it was snowing. Heavy cloak. Bare chest/bikini top. Miniskirt. Let’s fight some Romans! Another Pompeii/Spartacus similarity: Both of them tell the story of a slave-turned-gladiator. Spartacus is a step ahead because it has Lucy Lawless, though.
