Brr: Jesse Eisenberg Really Didn’t Like Shaving His Head For Batman v Superman

At least he isn't Mr. Freeze.

Jesse Eisenberg has had a variety of roles ranging from startup wunderkind to zombie slayer to magician. Now, in his newest role as Lex Luthor in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, he’s had to face one more new, “terrifying” fear: shaving his head.

In an interview on Late Night With Seth Meyers, Eisenberg told Seth Meyers that, “It’s really strange, it’s the kind of thing where I can like, really damage myself. You want to wear a helmet.”

Meyers said, “That makes Lex Luthor seem so much less intimidating.” Then, as if to prove his point, he pulled out some paparazzi set photos of Eisenberg walking around with his head covered by an adorable flower print bandana. “It’s like E.T. in the basket, basically.”

Of course Eisenberg’s Luthor now finds himself in league with another bald comic book villain: Karen Gillan’s Nebula. Around this time about two years ago, Gillan nervously took off her wig in front of a ton of San Diego Comic-Con attendees. She was totally into it, she even said she found it hilarious.

You’re in good company, Jesse.
