‘It makes no sense’: Woman nearly married a man who allegedly didn’t wipe after pooping. Then his mother saved her from a lifetime of disgust
Some things are harder to explain away forever
There are some things you expect to know about someone before getting engaged. Basic bathroom hygiene is probably one of them. But Kirsten claims she nearly married a man before learning about one habit she still cannot understand.
There were signs, but Kirsten did not believe them at first. When you think you have found the person you will marry, even learning that your partner doesn’t seem to use soap might be easier to explain away than accept.
Kirsten (@lil_tachy) told her 11.7 million TikTok viewers that the first warning came from her best friend. While they were living together, her friend kept finding poop left unflushed with no toilet paper. She suspected Kirsten’s boyfriend, but Kirsten was convinced it could not be him.
Then things got harder to ignore
Kirsten thought her friend’s boyfriend was actually responsible and was blaming her boyfriend to cover for himself. She was young, in love, and believed she had found the man she would spend her life with. So she brushed it off.
Things changed after Kirsten got engaged to him and the couple moved into their own place. She claims she started finding poop left unflushed with no toilet paper there, too. Still, she did not immediately think her fiancé was refusing to wipe.
Instead, Kirsten thought there might be something wrong with the plumbing. To her, the idea that a grown man would simply choose not to wipe made no sense. However, other hygiene habits soon started raising questions.
His toothbrush did not seem to move. Neither did the soap in the shower, and Kirsten claims the towels only moved when she used them. She eventually realized he apparently was not brushing his teeth or showering either. By then, the red flags she had overlooked were becoming harder to ignore.
The relationship ultimately ended for a more serious reason. Kirsten alleges that her fiancé almost punched her in the face. A few days after their breakup, she spoke with his mother about what had happened during their relationship.
His mother was supportive, according to Kirsten, and apologized for her son’s behavior. She also allegedly told Kirsten that the family had experienced problems with him when he lived at home and eventually kicked him out.
Then his mother brought up something she had never been told. “Kirsten, the man couldn’t even wipe his own ass,” she allegedly said.
Kirsten immediately wanted to know why she would say that. According to her, his mother explained that the family had also found poop sitting unflushed in the toilet with no toilet paper when he lived with them. They had suspected the same thing.
That conversation finally convinced Kirsten. She admitted that she did not know for sure while they were together. It was only after his mother independently brought up the same issue that she believed her earlier suspicions were right.
As for whether her ex smelled, Kirsten said the answer was not as obvious as people might expect. She claims he never smelled like poop or typical body odor. However, she sometimes woke up next to him when he was sweaty and thought he smelled like “rotten chicken.”
Viewers were left with plenty of questions. “Girl, respectfully, this video raises more questions than it answers,” one person commented. “‘He’d smell like rotten chicken’ hello?????” another asked.
“WHY WOULDNT HE EVEN FLUSH?” someone else wrote. Looking back, Kirsten said she initially refused to believe the obvious explanation because the behavior itself seemed impossible to understand.
“It wasn’t something that I was willing to believe at first because why on earth would someone choose not to wipe their a-s?” she said. “It makes no sense to me to this very day.”
