‘It is clearly Israel’s war’: Megyn Kelly blasts Donald Trump for dragging the US into a new war

Donald Trump’s decision to wage war on Iran after allying with Israel has not been taken lightly by the people of the United States. He has not only faced criticism from people on the left for his actions in Iran but also from the right, including some of his longest-standing ardent supporters.
Since last year and before that, a growing number of Republican-leaning Trump supporters have distanced themselves from the Orange Dictator and much of what he stands for. Prominent among them are Thomas Massie, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Rand Paul, among political figures, and Candace Owens and Joe Rogan, among conservative political commentators. Among the latter group, Megyn Kelly has also joined the party and, in a recent episode of her podcast, has been dissing Donald Trump and his decision to sacrifice US soldiers for the benefit of Israel.
Megyn Kelly is furious over Donald Trump engaging the US in Iran
Megyn Kelly has never been one to call out Donald Trump. Even at the height of the Epstein investigation, she repeatedly defended him, and she has done the same in other instances, which, in my opinion, shouldn’t have been supported. However, it seems she has had a change of heart recently or suddenly grown some grey matter, as she is now condemning Trump for allying with Israel and launching attacks in Iran.
Although her focus is primarily on the American lives lost in the Iran war, she is highlighting a broader problem, namely America increasingly getting embroiled in the matters of other countries, in this case, Israel, which has for a long time had a strained relationship with Iran. In a segment from the recent episode of The Megyn Kelly Show that is going viral on social media, including X (formerly Twitter), she says, “No one should have to die for a foreign country. I don’t think those four service members died for the United States. I think they died for Iran or for Israel…Our government’s job is not to look out for Iran or for Israel. It’s to look out for us. And this feels very much to me like it is clearly Israel’s war.”
Marjorie Taylor Greene’s views about the US/Israel war in Iran are similar to Kelly’s
Like Megyn Kelly, former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene also believes that there was no need for the US to go to war with Iran and help Israel usurp its government. She highlighted this aspect in an X post on Monday, drawing attention from both the left and the right.
In her post dissing Trump’s actions in Iran, Greene wrote, “And just like that we are no longer a nation divided by left and right, we are now a nation divided by those who want to fight wars for Israel and those who just want peace and to be able to afford their bills and health insurance.” This is not the first time she has spoken about the US’s relationship with Israel; she has done so in the past as well, especially in relation to Israel committing genocide in Palestine.
