Is This 6-Year-Old A Superhero Or Supervillain? [TRAILER]

Cautiously Optimistic

This is a trailer for a new film called Beasts of the Southern Wild. It stars six-year-old Quvenzhané Wallis as a character named Hushpuppy who may or may not have some serious superpowers at her disposal. The film also has some things to say about global warming and the apocalypse. Alyssa Rosenberg at Think Progress saw the film at Sundance and has nothing but incredibly positive things to say about it. Fun fact, she says some of the special effects were crowdsourced. I’d see it, if for nothing else than to see this amazing little actress do her thing.
