Is Roman Reigns taking home a title again at ‘WrestleMania 41’?

Roman Reigns was the Undisputed WWE Champion for over 1,000 days. He broke records, made enemies, and then Cody Rhodes took the title from him in an epic fight.

Reigns, who is heading back to WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas, is participating in a triple-threat match between Seth Rollins and CM Punk. And now he’s pushing back at people who criticize his approach to the WWE and wrestling. “It’s funny, because a lot of people call me a part-timer,” Reigns said in a video posted to his social media this week.

“I think people got a lot of things to say about my schedule. I’m no part-timer. I’m a full-time cash cow. Every second that I’m breathing, I’m working. That’s how this whole thing works. Proof of concept, this business lives off me, don’t ever get it confused. Every second that I breathing, I’m working.”

After WrestleMania 40, Reigns took some time off and still wrestled by the end of the year but people were critical of him to taking a break from the organization after losing the title to Cody Rhodes. He came back and wrestled five times. He was there for Bad Blood, Crown Jewel, Survivor Series: WarGames, the Monday Night Raw that premiered on Netflix, and Royal Rumble.

So being called a “part-timer” when he wasn’t there for most of the season isn’t an unfair comparison but Reigns is also someone you don’t want to fight. This WrestleMania (his 10th), Reigns is not up for the Undisputed title. That match is between John Cena and the current champ, Cody Rhodes. But it will be a step forward with if Reigns wants to take that title back some day.

We don’t know what WrestleMania holds for us but last time, it did have John Cena fighting for Rhodes so it will at least be a journey.
