‘Idiot’ is the word of choice for Donald Trump, according to his former DHS Chief of Staff in a scathing critique
Poor Donald Trump is currently facing numerous challenges. He has clearly become a target of ridicule among many people due to his antics, and they are openly criticising him during public events.
Recently, a clip from a while ago has been circulating widely on social media platforms, including X (formerly Twitter), and has become a topic of conversation among people across America. In this short video, Miles Taylor, who served as the Chief of Staff of the United States Department of Homeland Security during Donald Trump’s first term as President, can be seen articulating his thoughts about Trump using some rather unflattering language. One of the most notable things he referred to Trump as was an “idiot.” He also accused Trump of lacking awareness about his actions and “winging” every decision he made. His exact words were:
“When Donald Trump was president, I remember crossing that threshold into the Oval Office, and not only was this guy not bringing his A game, he didn’t have a game. He was winging it.”
Miles Taylor shared several other insights about his time with Donald Trump, but he specifically recalled an incident that left him quite astonished. He described a phone call with Trump, where the former president proposed the idea of building a moat along the southern border with Mexico to deter Mexican migrants from crossing into the US. Reflecting on this moment, Taylor said:
“And he goes off on this tangent talking about how we should actually get snakes and alligators and fill this 2000-mile moat on the border so that if someone falls into the moat … they’re facing the threat of snakes and alligators who might come after them.”
Taylor continued to voice his concerns about Trump, pointing out that Trump is not a true conservative and mentioned that he has been a lifelong conservative, which makes him more Republican than Trump. He added, “But putting politics aside, engaging with the man, you realise he’s an idiot. He is highly incompetent.”
The video clip, towards the end, also included further information that highlighted that since Miles Taylor’s revelations about Donald Trump and his administration, Trump has denied knowing Taylor and has insisted that he should be prosecuted.
That being said, Miles Taylor is just one among many who have distanced themselves from Donald Trump after discovering his true character. Recently, the individual who was once a close friend of the Dorito dictator but has now become one of his vocal critics is United States Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene. If the reports are accurate, several other Republican officials have grievances against Donald Trump, and if things shift slightly, they may also become critics of Trump as well.
