The Funny or Die video is half empowering anthem and half a desperate cry for help so America doesn’t shoot violently itself in the face by catching an “orange talking STD.”
Complete with faces fading into other faces, a key change, and too-famous celebrities singing on their phones instead of the studio, “Holy Shit (You’ve Got to Vote)” combines this familiar activist-song genre with great lyrics about post-World War I and copious amounts of cursing.
