Start Knitting, Mrs. Weasley! Harry Potter Fans Can Now Have Christmas Dinner in Hogwarts’ Great Hall

Recommended Videos

Today in “dreams coming true,” the Warner Bros. Studio Tour, which takes Harry Potter fans through the stages and backlots used to make the films, has announced it will be hosting a Christmas dinner this year in Hogwarts’ Great Hall.

The 18+ dinner will take place on December 3rd (so any Muggles who want your time on actual Christmas needn’t worry), and will run hungry HP fans $350 per ticket. After dinner, Warner Bros. says attendees will be able to:

  • Explore the Studio Tour, admiring sets such as the Gryffindor common room and the Weasley’s kitchen at The Burrow, which will also be dressed as they were for winter scenes.
  • Enjoy a selection of three festive dessert bowls on Platform 9 ¾, alongside the original Hogwarts Express.
  • Drink Butterbeer in the backlot café and walk up the wizarding shopping street, Diagon Alley, before taking in the breathtaking Hogwarts castle model (covered in a layer of filmmaking snow especially for the festive season).
  • Finish the evening with music and dancing, with a bar provided for those who wish to purchase additional drinks.

Although tickets to the event are currently sold out due to an “overwhelming response,” I wouldn’t be surprised if Warner Bros. added another evening or made this an annual tradition. See you at Hogwarts next year?
